The following scripts are available on request. High School shows are currently gendered based on the actors in production and their preferred pronouns. Non gendered scripts can be created on request, or you can feel free to adapt as you see fit.

  • It’s Kinda Like Dating (2019). When a neighbouring high school’s basketball team transfers in during their home school’s Reno, old flames are rekindled, and new relationships bloom. Based on William Shakespeare’s Much Ado about Nothing. Content warning, slut shaming through social media bullying and in person confrontation.

    Cast: 23 actors, some doubling possible.
  • Matchmaker/Heartbreaker (2022). Emily loves matchmaking almost as much as she loves bossing people around, but when a new girl starts at Applewood High, she goes too far. Based on Jane Austen’s Emma.

  • Love and Lollipops (written and workshopped in 2020/21 collaboratively with students, adapted for 2023 Jr. company show). On the cusp of graduating, a group of friends go through seniorities together, dodging guidance councillors, studying for finals, getting up the nerve to talk to their secret-since-forever-crush, and solving the biggest mystery of them all – is Mr. Stern on tiktok?

  • Alice in Wonderland (2023). The classic Alice in Wonderland tale told in promenade theatre style. Alice falls asleep during another boring assembly on responsibility, but when she wakes up it becomes clear this isn’t quite her high school anymore.

  • The Note (2024). How do you right a murder mystery when you refuse to portray murders in your high school drama class? Well you make it about a mysterious love note of course. This mystery is set in a high school musical theatre class two weeks before opening night, so we need to focus, people! This show was written to test the musical theatre waters, and includes one opening number and a place for a dance number. There is also a puppet. Can be produced with or without the framing scenes, which were written to expand the cast, and written in the style of YTV’s The Zone.
